How we work
How We Build a Pool
From the first phone call to your first swim — here's what to expect. We've refined this process across 35 years and several hundred projects.
1 Week 1
We start by listening
The first visit is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We walk your property, look at how you actually use the backyard, talk through what's working and what isn't, and get a feel for the look you're after.
We gather what matters: lot lines and easements, soil and water-table notes, HOA context, sun and wind, where the equipment can live, and how the dig would stage.
You finish week one knowing your real options, a budget range you can plan around, and an honest read on whether we're the right fit for the project.
By the end of week 1, you'll have a project brief and a realistic budget range.
2 Weeks 2–5
Then we design it for you
We turn the brief into something you can see and touch:
- 3D renderings created in our design software
- Finish samples brought to your home, in your light
- Equipment and automation options walked through in plain language
The fixed-fee construction contract is built directly from this approved design — so the number you sign is the number we stand behind.
By the end of week 5, you'll have a complete design and a fixed-fee contract — no surprises.
3 Weeks 5–8
We handle the paperwork
- Structural engineering
- Permit submittal — Martin County, City of Stuart, and others as applicable
- HOA approval coordination
- Every inspection, scheduled and met
This is the part most homeowners dread. It's the part we've done hundreds of times.
You don't talk to a single government office. We do all of it.

4 Weeks 8–22
Now we build it
Demolition and excavation, structural steel, plumbing and electrical, gunite, tile, coping, deck, equipment, finish, and fill — sequenced and supervised by ownership.
This is where most projects get murky. Not ours. Every Friday, your client portal updates with the week's progress photos, milestone signoffs, and current budget status. You see exactly where we are. If something needs your input, you'll know within hours, not days.
Weekly portal updates. Always.
5 Week 23+
Then we hand it over
- Startup and water balancing
- Owner training — chemistry, automation, maintenance basics
- 30 / 60 / 90-day check-ins included
- Warranty documentation handed over in your portal
Your pool. Working perfectly. We're not done when you can swim — we're done when you know how to own it.
